Parkview Green Art has the honor to witness FanYourong’s growth as a representative of the outstanding young artists atSichuan Fine Arts Institute. The works on display this time consist of twoseries: “The Girls” and “Out of the Corner of the Eye”. Fan’s piety topictorial qualities and detailed treatment lend to these series a visualdimension that is fine, subtle, and highly purified. On the basis of herdistinctive style, the new pieces in “The Girls” this year add a touch of theclassic icon painting. While heightening the sense of space, she has morecontrol over the mood in the painting, so it does not permeate aimlesslyanymore and is more oriented and concentrated.
The new pieces, attesting to thegreat progress in her art, will surely lead us to hope for more possibilitiesand new discoveries.
